Amani Spa Review: New One-Stop Japanese Beauty & Wellness Spa Centre Opens At Killiney Road

In the blink of an eye, we find ourselves halfway through 2023, and the hustle and bustle may have left you feeling utterly exhausted. But fret not! Amani Spa is here to provide the ultimate escape, allowing you to rejuvenate and unwind. Situated along the charming Killiney Road, this newly opened one-stop Japanese premium beauty & wellness centre invites you to experience a range of luxurious massage treatments and wellness services to soothe your weary soul.

We tried out the Couple Spa A package ($486.00 for non-members, $382.50 for members) that includes a 30-minute session of each Ganban-Yoku (Japanese Hot Stone Therapy) and Jacuzzi, followed by a 90-minute Aroma Oil Treatment.

Before we started the spa experience, we were ushered into a luxurious VIP room, thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities to ensure our utmost comfort and enjoyment, from the Ganban-Yoku room to Jacuzzi Bathtub and shower room. The added bonus was the privacy we enjoyed, which is ideal for the visit with your loved one, allowing you to truly unwind.

Ganban-Yoku (Japanese Hot Stone Therapy)

We began the spa experience with Ganban-Yoku which helps to promote better blood circulation and remove harmful toxins.

The room is adorned with gentle lighting and accompanied by zen music that instantly sets a relaxed ambiance. As the comforting warmth enveloped us, a sense of relaxation washed over our bodies.

There's more! They even have board games to keep us entertained during the Ganban-Yoku session.

Jacuzzi

Next, we indulged in a rejuvenating soak in the Jacuzzi bathtub, enhanced by invigorating jets and comforting bubbles that effortlessly dissolved our stress. The atmosphere transported us to Japan with a serene setting, surrounded by elements of tranquility such as a stone path, a calming wall, and soft natural lighting. To enhance the experience, we were provided with hinoki bath buckets to rinse our bodies. We were also served a cup of tea to enjoy alongside.

Amani Oil Treatment

Last but not least, we ended with a relaxing Amani Oil Treatment. It is an oil massage that focuses on the tandem, the centre of energy for the entire body, to drain the lymphatic system. They use Japanese organic Amani oil, made with 100% natural ingredients extracted from flaxseed.

It is prized for its gentle yet efficient exfoliating properties, alleviating dry and rough skin while ridding of eczema in children and adults. Overall, the massage was so calming, leaving our bodies and minds refreshed and revitalized.

Oxygen Capsule treatment

If you have trouble sleeping, try out their Oxygen Capsule Treatment (30mins @ $140.40). This unique experience envelops you in a pressurized oxygen environment, ensuring that oxygen molecules reach areas of your body that may be deprived of oxygen. This can help to rejuvenate your body for better sleep, focus and recovery from fatigue, injury, and muscle aches.
