On the limited-time MAMA specialty menu, look forward to 5 unique mains and two starters made using the original MAMA noodles as well as the OK Oriental Kitchen series’ noodles. The original MAMA noodles are the usual flat, thin noodles slightly toasted for an extra oomph while the OK Oriental Kitchen series is rounder, thicker and springier than the former.

OG enthusiasts, go for the soupy MAMA Tom Yum ($22), especially if you already love MAMA creamy tom yum flavour, you will certainly love the MAMA Tom Yum served with minced pork meatballs, crispy pork belly and tiger prawns.

Other dry noodle dishes using the original MAMA noodles include MAMA Crispy Pork Basil ($18) and dry MAMA Dried Suki ($15).

MAMA Soft-shell Prawn Truffle, MAMA Crispy Pork Basil, MAMA Lup Cheong ($15)

We had MAMA Crispy Pork Basil, a stir-fried rendition of MAMA noodles with crispy pork belly, red chilli and Thai basil. We were instantly intoxicated by the aromatic Thai basil before we dug into the delectable plate of perfectly seasoned noodles topped with generous slabs of crispy pork belly.

If you prefer springy noodles, check out the soupy MAMA Beef ($22) and dry MAMA Soft-shell Prawn Truffle ($22)- especially made for seafood lovers.

We had the MAMA Soft-shell Prawn Truffle- OK oriental kitchen noodles stir-fried in truffle sauce, alongside deep-fried to perfection soft-shell prawns tossed in Thai bomba seasoning. We enjoyed slurping the well seasoned springy noodles, as we caught a whiff of earthy and musky truffle. A special mention to the bountiful tobiko topping which further enhanced the umami of the dish!

Up your MAMA noodles game with tasty starters such as MAMA Lup Cheong ($15), a sweet, sour and spicy salad made from original MAMA noodles, tossed with shredded fried egg, Chinese dried sausage, hotdog, minced pork, celery, red chilli and cherry tomato, drizzled with a tangy dressing made with palm sugar, lime juice and fish sauce.

MAMA Lup Cheong ($15) is certainly a winning Thai style salad for us, sweet, tangy and savoury flavours with smokiness from the lup cheong. We enjoyed alternating each bite with the firm Chinese dried sausage and the softer hotdog.

Last but not least, the appetising MAMA Meatball Larb ($13) is the the MAMA iteration of Thai larb chopped salad packed with intense and punchy flavours from chopped shallots, cilantro, spring onion, coriander and mint leaves tossed in HUE’s house larb sauce.
