If you are in a new romance this Valentine’s and prefer to keep things fun and casual, Kinki is the one for you. Set within an urban landscape with an impressive view of the Marina Bay waterfront, the bar is decked in edgy graffiti and warm lights to set a hip yet relaxing and unpretentious vibe for you and your Valentine to relax together. As Singapore’s first graffiti art bar, Kinki Rooftop Bar is the epitome of a Tokyo underground scene.
While there isn’t a Valentine’s Day curated menu, Kinki Restaurant serves up unique non-conventional Japanese dishes using the freshest ingredients and the most creative of flavor combinations – all served at the highest quality. V) Live Twice
Slide back in time as Live Twice takes you and your Valentine to mid-century Japan. This bar exudes intimacy with dim lighting, wooden interiors and an eclectic playlist of tunes in the background especially attractive to lovers of 1960s traditional Japan style. Live Twice is opened by the folks behind Jigger & Pony, whose other establishments are also some of the most romantic bars in Singapore.
While Live Twice too doesn’t have a Valentine’s Day curated menu, the cinematic interior pulls you and your Valentine in for a romantic mood. Drama happens by the Falcon armchairs, romance blossoms in the alcoves, and so it goes.
Sip on a variety of sakes and spirits as you bite into the bar’s signature sandos, from beef katsu to pork katsu, as well as ebi and corn. The minimalistic aesthetic extends to the cocktails as well, with no more than four ingredients in the mix.
