Ibaraki Prefecture is famous for its Hitachi Seaside Park attraction, where you’ll enjoy a breathtaking panorama view of Nemophila (Baby blue eyes) during their blooming period.

But apart from this popular attraction, Ibaraki Prefecture also tops the chart in the production of certain crops such as lettuce, Chinese cabbage, Komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach), parsley, lotus root, sweet potato, melons, chestnuts, and many more.

Ibaraki Prefecture has succeeded in acquiring the unwavering number 1 position of producing a large volume of fruits and vegetables and is crowned the Agricultural Kingdom because it has sustained the supply of fresh produces for the whole of Japan for many years.
