Japan's Famed Supermarket From Tokyo, SEIJO ISHII, Launched Their First Pop-Up Store In Isetan Singapore

SEIJO ISHII- for those who never been to Japan, this name might sound foreign to you, but they are a famed premium Japanese supermarket, first founded in Toyko in 1927. Fun Fact: to date, they have a whopping 200 stores across Japan!

Known for their medley of both local and overseas goods, ready-to-eat meals, and not forgetting to mention their very own original house brands. They take pride in sourcing their ingredients from around the world, including Japan, to develop their unique lineup of products after listening to and understanding their customers- leading them to grow as one of the top high-end supermarkets in Japan.

From 4 November to 17 November 2022, they are having their first pop-up store in Singapore at the Isetan Scotts Supermarket, showcasing 42 unique products from its original house brands - SEIJO ISHII and SEIJO ISHII desica.

Find interesting products like Japanese Chestnut and Wasanbon Sugar Montblanc Roll Cake ($29.90), air-flown directly from Japan. Made with Wasanbon (Japanese refined sugar) and topped with a generous amount of sweet Mont Blanc cream made using Japanese chestnuts and fresh cream from Hokkaido.

Japanese Chestnut Polvoron ($9.60), featuring a crumbly Spanish shortbread baked with Japanese chestnut paste sprinkled with powdered sugar and Japanese chestnut powder.

You can also look forward to 100% Japanese White Peach Juice ($13.90), Strawberry Curd ($16.90)- made with locally grown strawberries, savoury Caesar Salad Dressing ($8.90), and more.
