Dessert & Tea Collection (box of 6 macarons)
I could not resist the beautiful macarons and decided to went for it first. I was impressed after I took a bite of it. The macaron shells are baked perfectly- with a very slight crunch, filled with a thick layer of lusciously delicious soft filling.
"Parkbean Bakery's macarons are vegetarian friendly, they do not use any gelatin in their macarons."
Thai Milk Tea Caramel
Whenever someone mentions Thai milk tea, it never fails to remind me of how sweet it tastes. However, this macaron is not as sweet as I expected. The Thai milk tea buttercream is rich and aromatic with a hint of caramel.
Earl Grey Passionfruit
This macaron is a perfect combination of the aromatic taste of earl grey and zesty passion fruit. The flavour of the earl grey buttercream is bold and strong, but it complemented well with the refreshing passionfruit curd center!
Lychee Rose Raspberry
This unique twist of fruity and floral macaron offers a burst of flavour to my taste buds. The raspberry jam is a little sour, but it balances well together with the buttercream that has an intense aroma of rose and refreshing lychee.
Oreo Cheesecake
I am not a fan of Oreo cheesecake, but hands down to this decadent macaron. The Oreo cream cheese buttercream is smooth and creamy, with just the right amount of sweetness, and a hint of oreo. Totally a dessert bliss!
Matcha Biscoff
As a fan of matcha, I was looking forward to trying this flavour the most, and it surely did not disappoint! The earthy matcha note hits gently on the center of my palate- so light and delicate. Not forgetting the sweet biscoff fudge center that balanced off the subtle bitterness of the matcha buttercream!
Tiramisu
I daresay this tiramisu macaron dusted with cocoa powder is my favourite among the rest. The Vanilla and Espresso mascarpone buttercream is so velvety and aromatic. It pairs perfectly well with the chocolate ganache center which adds an extra sweetness to the macaron.
Assorted Bakebox
Cinnamon Knot with Creamcheese Drizzle
This beautifully shaped cinnamon knot is so soft and moist on the inside and crispy on the outside! It comes with a sweet and creamy cream cheese drizzle which goes perfectly well with the cinnamon sugar, coated around the pastry.
Chocolate Espresso Knot with Espresso Creamcheese Drizzle
The Chocolate Espresso Knot has a complex hint of bitterness and a strong charred taste that overpowers the sweet espresso cream cheese drizzle. As someone with a sweet tooth, this does not suit my palate. However, if you are a person who enjoys the notes in espresso, this one is definitely for you!
Raspberry Pound with Raspberry Glaze
The Raspberry Pound cake is exceptionally soft and moist. It is light with a subtle note of vanilla. It goes perfectly well with the overly sweet raspberry glaze, and was strangely addictive!
Earl Grey Pound with White Chocolate Glaze
This super-moist pound cake is infused with earl grey tea leaves, adding texture to the cake. However, the flavour of earl grey is so fragrant and aromatic, leaving a delicate floral note in my mouth. To my surprise, the white chocolate glaze pairs perfectly well and I was impressed with the cake.

Special thanks to Parkbean Bakery for sending over their Dessert & Tea Collection (box of 6 macarons) and Assorted Bakebox (with 4 pastries). The macarons and pastries were undeniably enjoyable and I was really surprised by the flavours of the macarons! My top picks are Matcha Biscoff and Tiramisu flavoured macarons and the Cinnamon Knot with Creamcheese Drizzle.
