Savour Sake From Top Breweries with This Unique “Kayoi Tokkuri” — Limited-Edition Japanese Sake In An Aluminium Can

Have you heard of Tokkuri? Tokkuri is a bottle from which sake is served. I’m pretty sure you have seen sakes in the various types of tokkuri as shown above, but have you seen a stainless steel tokkuri?

The folks behind Seek the Story of Sake developed an original tokkuri that takes in the Japanese sake culture of “kayoi-tokkuri” as a modern sustainable concept. Kayoi literally means reusable — they have developed a stainless steel sake bottle with the mind to promote sustainability. What’s even better?

This stainless steel tokkuri gives you exclusive access to three traditional breweries that have been in business for over 100 years as well as special Japanese sake you can't usually get outside of Japan.

Unique Features of Stainless Steel Kayoi Tokkuri

Seek the Story of Sake takes pride in their stainless steel Japanese sake bottle made to store sake at it’s optimal temperature for consumption. Fun sustainable fact: Compared to glass and ceramic bottles, aluminium cans are more light and durable, contributing to lower delivery costs, lower CO2 emissions, and less packaging material! The bottles are made individually at a world-renowned metal processing town in Nigata Prefecture. It is also specially designed to keep your sake delicious for a long time as it prevents rusting, emits odour and is resistant to damages!

While filling sake in aluminium cans is not yet commonly found in Singapore, this unique minimalistic packaging has been attracting traction and popularity in recent years as a sustainable container for food/drinks.
