Mouthwatering Taiwanese Night Market Feast At Ginger @ PARKROYAL On Beach Road

Craving for classic Taiwanese street food delights such as XXL crispy chicken cutlet and flavourful oyster mee sua? Get transported to a Taiwanese food paradise at 'Flavours of Taiwan: A Night Market Feast’, exclusive dinner-only, all-you-can-eat halal buffet at Ginger @ PARKROYAL on Beach Road. Available from now until 31 October 2024, the collaboration between Ginger and Chef Alan Ho, President of the Taiwan Chefs Association, showcases over 50 beloved Taiwanese street food treats, served alongside Ginger’s signature buffet offerings.

Night Market Delights

Kick off your night market buffet with the ‘Bigger-Than-Face’ XXL Crispy Chicken Cutlet, perfectly fried whole boneless chicken cutlet coated with the chef’s special lemon salt and pepper seasoning mix. This is a lighter rendition of the usual oily deep fried chicken cutlet found in night markets in Taiwan.

Other night market classics include (top > bottom) Grilled Spiced Cuttlefish and Flamed Charred Marbling Beef. The seasoning on the cuttlefish was on point and the beef was tender, juicy and flavourful.

Soup

Whet your appetite with a bowl of Clam Soup. We thoroughly enjoyed this bowl of rich, briny, warm and comforting bowl of goodness. The heat from the ginger, garlic and scallions warmed us up and teased our taste buds for more savoury dishes to come.

Taiwan Classic & Taiwan Style Hot Dishes

Top left > bottom: Fried Oyster Mee Sua, Black Angus Beef Noodles, Lu Rou Fan with Minced Beef

Get ready for more soup delights with the Black Angus Beef Noodles, traditional beef noodles elevated with black Angus beef. We enjoyed slurping the knife cut noodles in the hearty beef broth.

Next, the Fried Oyster Mee Sua features deep fried oysters atop a bowl of mee sua cooked in a rich bonito-flavoured, egg-thicken soup, finished with a dash of chilli.

Taiwanese classic braised pork rice gets a beef rendition with the Lu Rou Fan with Minced Beef, topped with braised egg and pickles. Look out for other scrumptious dishes such as Chicken Pearl Rice and Lobster Dan Zai Mian.

Taiwan Wok Fried Seafood

Savour the best of ocean catch, including the Braised Lobster with Bitter Gourd. The sharp flavour from the bitter ground brought out the sweetness from the lobster, creating a symphony of flavours in our mouth. From the crab selection, there is the Sesame Oil Crab Stew, adorned with mushrooms accented with aromatic sesame oil.

Desserts

From the dessert table, round up your splendid Taiwanese gastronomic journey with Brown Sugar Soya Milk Cake, Caramel Mochi Yam Cup, Coconut Black Sesame Cake and Crispy Sweet Potato and Taro Ball. Pair it all with Free-Flow Bubble Tea.
