Wagyu X: Singapore’s First Japanese Steakhouse To Offer Hokkaido Special Wagyu

Singapore's culinary scene has welcomed a new star: Wagyu X, an exceptional steak restaurant on Club Street. This establishment is not your typical steakhouse. They offer a rare delight of Hokkaido Wagyu that is seldom found beyond the borders of Japan. The meat served is from a unique Hokkaido breed that is bred from the crossing of Kuroge black Wagyu cow and the Aberdeen Angus bull, founded by Chef Masahiro Takada. This steak strikes the perfect balance between flavour and texture, avoiding extremes of excessive fattiness or leanness.

Wagyu X presents a range of coveted cuts, including Sirloin (500g - $160, 1kg - $300), Ribeye (500g - $125, 1kg - $240), and Tenderloin (250g - $120, 500g - $230). The steaks come with a side of salt and garlic chips, which complement the steak's natural flavours, letting them take the spotlight. Furthermore, they are accompanied by a selection of sauces that elevate your steak experience, including wasabi shoyu, Japanese steak sauce, and ponzu.
