Here is another traditional teahouse, Itoh Kyuemon, founded in the late Edo period in 1832. They pride themselves on making high-quality tea and use only "hand-picked first-class tea" made by experienced craftsmen from tea gardens in Shirakawa and Ujitawara-Cho.

They offer a wide range of Uji teas, sweets, and desserts, which include their signature Matcha Parfait, Uji Tiramisu, Uji Matcha Roll Cake, and more.

Nakamura Tokichi Honten has a long history that dates back to 1854.
