Heartwarming Moments

The sight of @shawn_alchemize enjoying a steaming pot of Nabe with his friends in a log house cabin at Wariyama Forest Park Tenkomori during a cold winter break.
A graduation photoshoot for @angshirui’s family in Okinawa, Japan!
A trip that @cherilyncys hold closest to heart up till today for it was her first, and also the last, overseas trip she had with her mother.
And when @nick89_go managed to fulfil his mother’s dream of witnessing Hanami in Japan!
A dive into Nostalgia
“Even till today, it makes me smile as I re-imagined the excitement of experiencing snow, which cast the world in a blank white canvas.”
We know that exact feeling! There’s something so beautiful about snow - like a fluffy white blanket you would want to snuggle in and makes for a picturesque panorama. But what makes snow truly beautiful is the memories you can make such as skiing, building a snowman, or throwing snowballs at your loved ones.
I bet you wish Singapore would snow too.

When it’s freezing cold in Nagano, what warms @fjeys was the gracious hospitality and smiles from her hosts. Nagano took a piece of her when she had to leave, but she promised to be back!
I know that cordial welcome you are referring to because I came to know two friends from Nagano when I was drinking at a Yatai in Fukuoka! Up till today, I won’t forget how friendly they were and how welcome they made me feel.
Bring us through another virtual trip when you visit again with your new Olympus Film camera! 😉

Due to the rainy weather and heavy fog, @ngyhs’s original plan to catch a glimpse of the majestic Mt. Fuji was spontaneously replaced by long onsen baths, a refreshing afternoon tea by a cosy quaint café, and a glorious Kaiseki meal with local organic produce to end off the night.
I have to agree that sometimes in vacations (life), things don’t go as planned. You might miss your last bus to the next attraction, or the unexpected wet weather might spoil your plans for an activity. But that is what makes traveling beautiful. Sometimes traveling is all about getting lost, about throwing our plans and itineraries, and going with the flow - then you will find yourself elsewhere that could be more rewarding. You learn to enjoy the present moments, and you learn more about yourself.
True Love

@evelynlouiza expressed that memorable sights during her trip to Japan were not dazzling tourist hot spots, they were ordinary, everyday standstills of people and places that exude the complexity and simplicity of Japanese culture. When she was battling her inner demons and falling into life’s rut, this trip came like a gift from heaven and healed her. It gave her the courage and inspiration to discover the world’s unseen wonders.

@squarerootfive grew up with fascination-turned-love for Japan.
I love how he captured the essence of Japan in these street shots, because I enjoy taking long walks in Japan, be it in buzzing streets or quiet alleys. Who’s with me!
A meaningful submission from @nyankos3npai - there is always something magical about Japan which never fails to intrigue me no matter how many times I’ve been there. From the romantic autumn colours to bustling nightlife, Japan has captivated me in many ways. The metallic structures and historical buildings are an interesting mix of busy city life and the calming aspect of Japan. As a history geek, Japan satisfies my desire to immerse myself in a historical world as it is rich in cultures. Japan will always be my top place to explore!
My mom told me we should be best friends. Haha!
@liushapau’s favourite memory of Japan is not a picturesque mountainscape or a peaceful shrine, but the quiet beauty of the everyday.
Enough said. We love this.

@choel.jpeg’s Japan trip last December was one of the greatest experiences of his life as he managed to capture different sights using his disposable film camera. And this is also when he discovered his love for film photography!
