1-FOR-1 Sushi Rolls At Ohayo Mama San For The Whole Month of December
To celebrate 12 Days of Christmas, Japanese high-tea and gastro bar Ohaya Mama San at 313@Somerset has rolled out 12 new types of sushi rolls (pun intended) to commemorate the festive occasion!
From now till the end of December, enjoy a sweet 1-FOR-1 DEAL on any of the 12 sushi rolls ($26 each) which includes premium, vegan, and even riceless options.
Apart from being known for its incredibly value-for-money high tea sets, Ohayo Mama San also serves up a wide array of sushi rolls that would get you in a merry holiday mood! From the crowd favourite Mentaiko Blanket Salmon Roll to the unique Mamasan Riceless Roll, it promises to have something for everyone.

Mentaiko Blanket Salmon Roll
Singaporeans love their mentaiko on anything, fries, sushi, you name it - and indeed we enjoyed this pairing on our sushi roll just as much! The Mentaiko Blanket Salmon Roll ($26) was one of our favourites of the night! It featured baked eel, cucumber perfectly accompanied with the tempura bits which had the right amount of crunch, while the rich and creaminess of the mentaiko sauce sealed the deal.
Mamasan Riceless Roll
The Mamasan Riceless Roll ($26) was one of the more unique rolls that we have tried thus far, simply because it did not have rice - the most essential ingredient in sushi (duh). But surprisingly, its absence wasn’t necessarily missed because there’s a generous spread of ingredients packed in this unassuming roll! It includes tuna, salmon, hamachi, cucumber, marinated radish topped with avocado, kani salad, and ikura so this more than makes up for the lack of carbs and we loved it just as much or even more!
The wide assortment of sushi rolls of course, includes savoury and yummy options such as the Cheese Lover Roll which was also one of the highlights of our evening because who knew cheese and ikura would be a superb pairing?
Specialty Cocktails
On top of the sushi rolls, there are also new specialty cocktails concocted just for this Christmas season which would go perfectly with the rolls and at the same time, get you in a merry holiday mood!
The Tokyo Banana ($20) blends American bourbon, banana syrup, egg white, and Hokkaido milk for a unique spin on the classic Christmas eggnog, while The Pornstar Martini (with Sparkling Water Shot $20, with Prosecco Shot $24) is a mix of craft vodka, passionfruit juice, lemon juice, vanilla essence, caramel syrup, and egg white. Additionally, we highly recommend topping up your drink with the shot when there’s about half of it left for a little extra bubbly boost!

For those who are not really in the booze mood, you could also top up $6 for a Sparkling Yuzu or Collagen Lychee Tea (U.P $9).
