Cleanse your palate with the Leek-infused Soup that boasts a savoury richness. It also captures the essence of a blooming flower with its artful presentation of the blooming baby Napa cabbage. This savoury soup has the perfect balance, with the sweetness of red dates and citrusy notes of yuzu.

Finish off with this unique dessert that is only available during dinner. It consists of colourful edible flower petals, mint leaves and other fragrant herbs. Liquid nitrogen is then poured, freeze-drying the herbs, creating a frozen texture to the ingredients. Once frozen, the herbs are crushed and a scoop of hokkaido ice cream is added on top. This creates a perfect combination between the ice cream and its frozen floral creation.

Final Thoughts

With Ki Su being a plant-based omakase restaurant, it definitely surpassed our expectations, and would surely be a big win for vegetarians. A must-try even for non-vegetarians - be taken aback by the fact that all the dishes contains no real fish or meat, including the sushi that is made from plants. Another innovative vegetarian omakase restaurant option in Singapore is Hana Japanese Restaurant.
