LUNA, the popular Singaporean homegrown patisserie has opened a brand-new café concept named Lucine by LUNA at 111 Somerset. While retaining its crowd-favourites and signature sweet treats, Lucine by LUNA features a new menu of outlet-exclusive hot savoury dishes.

Lucine by LUNA

Lucine, meaning "moon" or "light," represents brightness and illumination. The café's design perfectly reflects its name, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with sunlight. The eye is naturally drawn to the artistic centrepiece: lifelike blush-pink paper flowers and botanicals. This delicate paper garden is beautifully crafted by Pei Li, a renowned Singaporean paper artist and founder of PeiPer Arts School. The rest of the café is kept elegantly simple, with monochromatic marble tables highlighted by hanging lights.

Grilled Cheese Sandwich

The menu primarily features sandwiches made with toasted sourdough and brioche. You'll find a variety of flavourful fillings, like the Grilled Cheese ($12.90) loaded with mozzarella, cheddar, and parmesan, or the Tofu Katsu ($10.90) with a panko-crusted tofu cutlet and spicy sriracha mayo. Every sandwich comes with a side of mixed greens salad, and you can add crispy tater tots for an additional $2.

Fuel your day with the customisable All Day Breakfast (from $8.90), which features soft, sunshine-yellow scrambled eggs served with toasted sourdough and a side of fresh salad greens. For a heartier meal, you can add on tater tots, sautéed garlic mushrooms, creamed spinach, and chicken sausage, available from $2 onwards.

All Day Breakfast

For a light and nourishing lunch, try the fresh salads. The protein-rich Sous Vide Chicken Salad ($12.90) includes herb-rubbed chicken breast, hard-boiled egg, mixed lettuce, spinach, cherry tomatoes, and onions, topped with a creamy homemade Italian herb dressing.

Need some sharing bites? Go for the Truffle Tater Tots ($9.90) that comes with the fragrant truffle mayo dip or the Battered Spam Fries ($9.90) paired with the spicy sriracha mayo dip.

Satisfy your coffee and dessert cravings with LUNA's latest selection of entremets, featuring Pistachio Roulade ($8.80), Citrus Tart ($8.50), Blossom ($8.50), and Mint Chocolate ($8.50). You'll also find a variety of unique coffee choices, including flavoured lattes like Black Sesame, Tiramisu, and Peanut Butter, each priced at $8.50. Otherwise, there are also classic options like Roasted Hazelnut Latte ($6.50).
