On the second Sunday of May, we celebrate Mother’s Day (15 May 2024) to show our love to the superwomen in our lives. Dig into the seafood spread beginning with one serving per person of seasonal specials such as Steamed Live Scottish Bamboo Clams and Rock Lobster Poached Rice featuring fragrant rice simmered in rich lobster broth. At the Seafood On Ice counter, be spoiled by a myriad of delightful ocean catch- snow crab leg, Pacific oysters, poached sea prawns and sea whelk. Hot dishes include Wok Fried Chilli Crab with Crispy Mantou, Herbal Prawns with Aged ‘Hua Tiao’ Wine, Grilled Red Snapper with Sambal, Half Shell Scallops with Shio Kombu Butter,  Live Neck Clams in ‘Kam Heong’ Sauce and many more.

Indulge in a wide array of flavours at Chara Brasserie, new restaurant nestled in the brand new Mercure ICON Singapore City Centre. Chara Brasserie’s latest Mediterranean buffet offers more than 100 varieties of classic and signature global flavours, accompanied by a lamb rotisserie on selected days.

They have four rotating menus featuring various cuisines from around the world. On Monday and Tuesday, there is Flavours of the Mediterranean and Southeast Asia, featuring hot seafood-focused dishes. On Wednesday and Thursday, the best of the Mediterranean coupled with Japanese flair serves crispy tempura and maki prepared a la minute. On Friday and Saturday, the Mediterranean and Asia Pacific presents a meats galore with lamb rotisseries and roast carving stations set up. On Sunday, enjoy the finest of the above with an international Mediterranean buffet dishing out all three menus from across the week.

The luxurious spread at Chara Brasserie’s buffet brings an assortment of delights from the land and sea, ranging from Seafood on Ice station, Japanese station, Live Rotisserie station, Live Hot Dishes station, and last but not least Local Flavours station which include local classics such as prata puff and curry, black pepper or kung po crayfish and chilli crab.

At the Desserts station, revel in an assortment of sweet treats spanning from Nyonya kueh, mini tarts, cupcakes, mini cakes and more. Additionally, the restaurant also renews their mini dessert plates of the day, featuring dorayaki, waffles, croffles and more.

White Marble is a Mediterranean grill restaurant nestled in Orchard Rendezvous Hotel, which celebrates the timeless flavours of the countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea, including Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Greece, Morocco, and the Middle East. The restaurant menu focuses on seafood and vegetables and an enticing selection of grills cooked to perfection in a charcoal oven.

Savour 1-for-1 pastas together with Mom from now until 19 June 2024. This great deal is available in three tantalising flavours- Iberico Pork Jowl Ragout & Orecchiette Pasta ($38++, U.P. $76++), the aromatic Bucatini Puttanesca & Prawn ($32++, U.P. $64++), or the oceanic Linguine Vongole ($30++, U.P. $60++) (*same choice of pasta only).

2nd Anniversary Special Menu

Diners can also enjoy White Marble’s 2nd anniversary’s limited-time dishes featuring the star of the menu, Flaming Lobster ($89++)- grilled lobster skewer, flambé with rum and lobster bisque (preorder of 2 days prior to reservation is required). Other culinary delights include Crispy Seafood Paella ($59++), Langoustine with Chilli Garlic ($39++), Smoked European Sea Bass ($69++) which presents a burst of earthy flavours from mixed herbs vierge, lemon and farmer’s vegetables. Round off the meal with a housemade Fresh Apple Tart ($18++), assembled using fresh apple slices to form a rose.

Enjoy a cosy lunch experience with your mom featuring their exclusive Bansang (반상) which showcases signature dishes such as 100% buckwheat noodles, traditional Korean Yukgaejang, complemented by a set of savoury side dishes.

This Mother’s Day, Soup Restaurant launches Parents’ Day Set Menu featuring a lineup of heartwarming dishes for family celebrations from $69++ for 2 pax on top of their signature Samsui Ginger Chicken. Select your preferred set menu according to your preferences, the number of dishes can be scaled up or down according to the pax size. Take for instance, the Celebration Set is available for a party size of 2 to 5 pax, ranging from $108++ for 2 pax to $268++ for 5 pax.

Dig into scrumptious seafood and meat delicacies in the Celebration Set; (top L-R) Double Boiled Brazilian Mushroom with Dried Scallop Soup, Samsui Ginger Chicken, Abalone with Braised Vegetables and Golden Pumpkin, XL Crispy Noodles with Fresh Prawns, Braised Pork Belly with Butterfly Bun.

This set menu also includes Peach Gum and Honey Pear with Oolong Tea Dessert and Handmade Longevity Bun.

Wu Wang Guo 勿忘锅 is a hidden hotpot restaurant in Chinatown Point priding themselves in providing an “unforgettable” hotpot experience for diners.

Their range of unique and healthy soup bases include WWG Collagen Beauty Soup, Spicy Nourish Mala Soup, Vitamin C Tomato Soup, Golden Fish Maw Soup with Pig Stomach and their new Cooling Coconut Chicken Soup. Customise your hotpot experience from 1 to 4 different soup bases or opt for a personal pot.

Beat the weekend crowd with their new Weekday Buffet Lunch ($30.80++ per pax), available from Monday to Thursday, 11.30am to 4.30pm. Each diner can choose one soup base for a quart pot. (10) Creamier X Frying Fish Club

Creamier Handcrafted Ice Cream, a beloved local ice creamery located along East Coast Rd, collaborates with Frying Fish Club- Japanese-inspired fish & chips specialist, for a first-of-its-kind waffle and fried fish concept. From now until July 2024 at Creamier's East Coast outlet, diners can indulge in both scrumptious desserts and hearty dishes from day to night. In the meantime, treat your little doggie to to Pup Cup- pooch-friendly ice-cream crafted with healthy ingredients which your dog will love.
