Review: Yakiniku-GO Introduces All-New Premium Pork Set Menus Starting From $9.80++

Yakiniku-GO Nex outlet

Pork? Yes, you heard it right! Japanese Yakiniku chain Yakiniku-GO now has pork on the menu! On top of the restaurant’s existing line-up of beef, chicken, lamb and seafood offerings, you can now enjoy premium grilled pork such as Miyazaki Pork from Japan and Duroc Pork from Spain! This delectable selection of pork is now available at all Yakiniku-Go outlets.

Choose from two Pork Sets; Miyazaki Tokujo Pork Set (180g) - $28.80 and Pork Sanshu Mori Set (150g) - $16.80, as well as several a-la-carte pork options.
*All sets come with rice, seaweed soup and kimchi/salad.

Miyazaki Tokujo Pork Set (180g) - $28.80

Indulge in a delightful meat trio including pork belly, pork collar and pork loin steak. Each pork cut was unique and brought about different flavour profiles and textures. We loved the pork belly (Miyazaki Buta Bara) for its beautiful layer of fat which melted in our mouths. Tip: Grill this prized cut to a nice char.

Prefer something lighter? Go for the pork collar (Miyazaki Buta Kata Rosu) and dip it in one of their special sauces such as the House Special Yakiniku Tare. Pair it with a mouthful of the pump and fluffy rice.

The pork loin steak (Miyazaki Buta Rosu Steak) packed a good balance of lean meat and fat. We certainly enjoyed the flavourful punch of this rich yet tender meat.

Pork Sanshu Mori Set (150g) - $16.80

This new menu addition presents Duroc pork cuts including pork belly, pork collar and pork jowl. The beautiful meat marbling caught our eyes as we lay the meat on the grill. Tip: Sear the meat to golden-brown perfection but be careful not to burn it as the meat cooks quickly due to its high marbling.

Final Thoughts

We had a cosy BBQ experience at Yakiniku-GO! The pork was tender, juicy and rich, we thoroughly enjoyed grilling and savouring the meat flavours, both with and without the sauces. Order your preferred choice of meat while enjoying the company of your friends and family! In addition, their electric grill produced no smoke, there was no lingering BBQ odour after our meal. You can return to the office at ease, with no trace of a BBQ lunch!
