Small Bites
Kick start your day with delightful bites, paired with a cup of coffee or a pint of beer on a lazy afternoon. Pan Fried Sotteok ($16.90) makes a mouthwatering snack with chewy rice cakes and sausages basted with a spicy gochujang-based sauce.
Enjoy a “chimaek” (Korean fried chicken with beer combo) experience with Signature Buldak Fried Wings ($16.90)- crisp fried chicken wings coated with chef's red-hot and fiery Korean hot sauce or the Fox M Boneless Fried Chicken ($16.90)- golden brown deep-fried K-style chicken chunks with a piquant DK house-made dip.
Mains
Next, load up with an array of hearty mains such as Beef Bulgogi Sandwich with Chips ($18.90) featuring tender slices of beef short plate layered with caramelised onions, mozzarella cheese, dressed with kimchi mayo and bulgogi sauce, between sourdough toast.
Diners going meat-free can dig into Vegetarian K-Bowl ($14.90)- a vegan rendition of the classic Bibimbap, topped with roasted mushrooms, egg, kimchi and a medley of vegetables tossed in a special house-made sauce.
Sharing Plates
Relive your K-drama ramyun slurping moments with Signature Seafood Kimchi Ramyun Soup ($39.90), a simmering pot of soul-soothing soupy noodles with kimchi and ocean gems such as baby octopus scallops, prawns, crab leg and kimchi. Originally designed for 2 pax sharing, this generous pot of goodness could easily feed up to 4 pax on our table.
Complete your Korean gastronomic journey with a delectable kimchi and seafood pancake at Dal.Komm Playground. They serve up a fluffy yet crispy Seafood Pancake ($23.90) crafted with house-made kimchi batter, adorned with prawns, scallops, octopus and onions, with a sesame-soy dip.
Korean Specialty Desserts And Alcoholic Beverages
On their extensive sweets menu, you can find lovely creations decked in classic Korean dessert ingredients like strawberry injeolmi, sweet potato, banana, and more. Cruffin French Toast ($18.90) switches the regular toast with a flaky and buttery puff pastry dusted with icing sugar and topped with nuts, fruits and a scoop of vanilla ice-cream.
Pop in from 3pm to 8pm daily to enjoy exciting happy hour deals; cheers to a refreshing line-up of Korean specialty craft beers, soju, makgeolli and more. Outlet-exclusive makgeolli variations include the Makgeolli Medley ($38), tasting set of 4 makgeolli flavours, and a lovely pink Strawberry Makgeolli Bingsu ($38)– finely-shaved ice adorned with fresh strawberries, blueberries and thyme, and served with a bottle of makgeolli to be poured into the glass bowl. Mix well with the glass ladle.
We enjoyed the refreshing Strawberry Makgeolli Bingsu, an “adults-only” bingsu with the makgeolli’s strong alcoholic taste mellowed down with fresh lemon, strawberries and blueberries.
