Royal Host Opens Second Outlet In Town With Limited-Time 50% Off Promotion For Your Next Visit
If you have not checked out the famous Japanese family restaurant Royal Host at Jewel Changi Airport, you are in luck! You can skip the trip to the east as their newest location is opening at Takashimaya Shopping Centre on 12 December 2024, taking over the previous Genki Sushi space.
Both outlets serve the same menu, showcasing Western-inspired dishes and signature items. For starters, seafood lovers will not want to miss the Lobster Bisque ($10.80++), a dish bursting with rich, creamy umami flavours and the addition of tender tiger prawns makes it a satisfying choice.
If you are not a fan of seafood, the "ROYAL” Onion Gratin Soup ($7.80++) is a crowd favourite and a perfect alternative. This hearty dish combines homemade consommé infused with caramelised onions and a slice of toasted baguette topped with Gruyere cheese for a comforting start.
For the main course, we highly recommend the "ROYAL" Sirloin Steak 250g ($64.80), featuring premium "Washu beef". Cooked to medium-rare perfection, the steak is incredibly tender and juicy.
They also offer their signature "ROYAL" Omurice with Demiglace Sauce ($26.80++), featuring ketchup fried rice topped with creamy scrambled eggs and completed with rich, savoury demiglace sauce.
If you are in the mood for pasta, try the Seafood & Mentaiko Sauce ($29.40). This dish comes with scallops, squid, and a creamy "Fukuya" mentaiko (spicy cod roe) sauce, topped with extra mentaiko, shiso leaves, and seaweed. The mentaiko sauce is perfectly balanced, not too rich or overpowering, making it a dish you will definitely want to finish.
Complete your meal with their selection of desserts like the Crème Brûlée Parfait with Mixed Berries ($21.80++). It comes with a layer of smooth, creamy crème brûlée, complemented by chocolate ice cream and whipped cream, making it the perfect ending to your dining experience.
