Yappari Steak: Japan’s Beloved Steakhouse Sizzles Finest Black Angus Beef Steak Cuts On Hot Lava Stone Plates
Renowned lava stone steakhouse from Naha City, Okinawa, Japan, Yappari Steak debuts in VivoCity, Singapore, presenting premium wet-aged 150-day grain-fed Black Angus Beef Misuji cuts, served on sizzling lava stone plates sourced directly from Mount Fuji. Diners can look forward to cooking their very own steaks to achieve the desired level of doneness according to personal tastes and preferences.
Lava Stone Steak Experience
At Yappari Steak, they use lava stone plates from Mount Fuji which have porous surfaces that efficiently absorb and radiate heat. This ensures optimal heat distribution during cooking, hence preserving the beef's natural juiciness.
Enjoy this ultimate grilling experience, savour evenly seared, tender, and flavourful Angus beef steaks cooked to your preferred doneness. Within minutes upon serving, the meat would be cooked to medium rare. Slice it apart as the meat juice bubbles on the hot lava stone. Let it cook it a little longer if you prefer your steak to be cooked medium.
For the signature Yappari Steak, you can choose your preferred meat portion size, ranging from 150g ($19.80++), 200g ($23.80++) to 300g ($33.80++). Meat lovers can top up $13.80 for an additional 100g.
Other steak cuts include Zabuton Steak (chuck tail flap)- 150g ($23.80++), 200g ($28.80++), Nakaochi Karubi Steak (rib finger)- 150g ($22.80++), 200g ($27.80++), Mixed Cut Steak- 200g ($22.80++) and Hamburger Steak (100% beef)- 2pcs ($18.80) perfect for kids. All steaks are served with all-you-can-eat Japanese rice, salad and soup.
Choose to savour the juicy steak on its own or dip a slice of meat into a selection of sauces and condiments- onion, garlic and teriyaki sauce, pickled wasabi, minced garlic, and more.
Sides
On the menu, there is a wide variety of scrumptious side dishes to spice up your steak game. The top recommendation is Garlic Butter Rice ($6.80++), garlic rice topped with a slice of butter and served in a hotplate. If you like crispy rice, let it cook a little more before mixing the butter.
This fluffy and aromatic rice is great for curries and stews such as the classic Japanese Beef Tendon Stew ($5.80++) and Japanese Beef Tendon Curry ($5.80++). The cook on the beef tendon was splendid, we loved its luxurious textures. It was incredibly soft, flavourful and melted in our mouths. The beef stew is comfort food heaven while the curry was mild and well balanced with curry essential spices and onions which bring out the sweetness and umami of the beef tendon. You can opt to have them with rice or udon ($13.80++) for a wholesome meal.
Last but not least, there are also fried delights such as Curly Fries with Mentai Mayo ($3.80++) and Tori Karaage ($5.80++)., as well as Kids Meal ($9.80)- choice of beef hamburg or tori karaage, served with tamago mayo and Yakult for family dining.
